Intermediate Advanced Summer Anusara Yoga Retreat
Come join Todd for this special opportunity to deepen your practice while enjoying the warmth and beauty of summer. Playfully explore new asana terrain while building strength, endurance, and confidence. During this spiritually uplifting and transformational retreat, you will learn intermediate and advanced postures in all the categories of asana including standing postures, hand balances, inversions, hip openers, backbends, forward bends, and twists. Modifications and developmental steps for all advanced asanas will be given so you can enjoy working at your own pace. In addition, there will be opportunities to practice pranayama, meditation, and kirtan chanting. Through the safe and supportive environment, clear, heart-centered instructions, and support of the community, you will quickly establish your connection with your true self and your natural state of joy.

Cross-County
Skiing & Yoga Retreat
Cross-county skiing is one of the best total-body, nonimpact
aerobic exercises, and yoga is a superb way to prepare for it.
Youâll learn yoga postures to develop balance and
weight transfer, plus practice meditation for calm and focus.
Then itâs off to the trails!
Professional coaches will lead clinics on proper
technique and skills for both beginning and experienced
skiers. Youâll
ski at your own pace on a trail suited to your ability.
Our staff will be available to offer additional support
and tips. Each
day ends with yoga and a guided relaxation.
Youâll return home feeling strong, connected to your
center, and refreshed by the beauty of a Berkshire winter.
Note:
Equipment is available for an additional fee of $35 for the weekend. It
must be reserved in advance of your arrival.
Tuition includes ski trail pass. The program usually
involves a trip to a ski center 30 minutes (or further if
insufficient snow) away.

Partner Yoga
Stretch not only our body, but your relationship skills.
In this fun-filled invigorating weekend, you'll practice a series of doubles yoga poses where you balance, counter-balance and co create the posture; learn partner-assisted stretches, enabling you to stretch farther than you could on your own; and develop strength and flexibility while deepening your relationship skills ö trust, communication and fun.
Note:
Bring a yoga partner to work with.
It can be a friend, family member, yoga buddy or your
actual partner.

Three-Part Anusara Yoga Immersion Course with Todd Norian and Ann Greene 2007
Designed for aspiring teachers and yogis who want to deepen their practice, the Immersion will support you in awakening your heart and living a more meaningful and empowered life of freedom and joy. Through absorption in the life-affirming teachings of Anusara Yoga within a supportive community, you will joyously create a more vibrant body, radiant heart, and sharp mind as you integrate the deeper teachings of yoga.
During each module, you will dive deeply into the essence of the Anusara method in which the art of the human spirit powerfully blends with the science of biomechanics. Snowshoeing & Yoga
Miles of trails offering exquisite view, animal tracks and
snow-covered forests surround Kripalu each winter.
Now you can explore this beauty in a leisurely way-on snowshoes! Snowshoeing, a gentler form of exercise than cross-county skiing, provides the traction you need to get to the places you can't reach by simply hiking in snow.
Yoga before your walks will support ease of movement;
afterward, it promotes relaxations.
Guided meditations will enhance your receptivity to the
wisdom of nature. If
you love yoga and outdoor winter sports, youâll love this
program.

Restorative
Yoga: Deep Release
Through Total Support
When the body is fully supported, it will naturally let go,
releasing deeply held tensions.
Restorative yoga, the yoga of non-doing, focuses on
effortlessness and ease. In this practice, the body is
fully supported with pillows, blankets, ties and chairs.
These props provide the safety and comfort of total
support, enabling you to relax into a natural state of balance. During
the weekend, youâll practice a set of restorative postures,
complemented with gentle stretching, breathing and meditation,
and take home healing poses you can do anytime.
